Waiting is all part of capturing a special moment in wildlife. Anyone can click as soon as they see a bird. The flapping in the water is a sign that at any moment the bird will lift up out of the water and flap only about 3 times so you have to be ready and you have to be quick.
When the bird is just floating and mot moving - then the clearest reflection can be obtained. The green of the surrounding trees is reflected and creates wonderful patterns.
Last but not least in this current edition of Mister Carolina Duck. The consecutive colours of the rainbow are YELLOW and GREEN. These are two sympathetic colours which are warm and calming.
