Swan pursuit is a name derived from watching too much of the Olympic cycling in Rio with its “Team pursuit”.

A male swan with this bodyguard duties for his newly formed family. Seven of this little family members do need to be kept safe as they grow up towards full size and are then able to fly. As with human children, the better fed these little guys are – the sooner they grow to full size. So the more bread they get from the public instead of geese grabbing it, the quicker they will grow towards their first flight.

Their dad gives chase to a goose who was helping himself to too much of the bread being dished out by the caring public. The goose skips the waves a little bit to move on, but the swan wants him well out of the way and makes him fly right out of the way.
